Steps to secure any changes in Desktop

Step 1: Click Start button and type regedit in Run option then press Enter for next

Step 2: Then locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Step 3: Right Click on the right side of the panel and create a new DWORD value with the name NoSaveSettings and assign the value to 1

 

Step 4: Now restart your system for the changes to take effect.
